Refund Policy

1. Nature of the Service
Basanta SEO API is a digital API service. Subscription plans provide access to API request credits on a monthly basis. As a digital service with instant delivery, standard refund policies differ from physical goods.
2. General Refund Policy
Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We understand that circumstances vary, and we aim to be fair. To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of your charge at support@seo.basantasapkota.com with your account details and the reason for the request.
3. Situations Where Refunds May Be Granted
- Duplicate charges due to a billing error
- Service was completely unavailable for an extended period due to our infrastructure issues
- Accidental subscription renewal where no requests were made
4. Situations Where Refunds Are Not Granted
- Partial month usage — we do not prorate refunds for unused requests within a billing cycle
- Violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, including abuse, excessive automated misuse, or unauthorized resale
- Dissatisfaction with metric values or SEO outcomes (metrics are research tools)
- Requests made after significant API usage within the billing cycle
5. Custom and Business Plans
Custom plan agreements may have specific refund terms outlined in the contract. Custom plans are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing before purchase.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to your plan's request limit until the period ends. No partial refunds are issued for cancellations mid-cycle.
7. How to Request a Refund
Email us at support@seo.basantasapkota.com with your account email, the date of the charge, and a brief explanation. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
